Should You Worry About Window Condensation?

Have you ever experienced a bathroom that looks great but was difficult to use? The design rule that “form follows function” is important because it doesn’t matter how pretty a space is if it complicates your life.

A bathroom is a space with many specific functions, and if something hinders the ability to perform you will be reminded of it every single day.  When undertaking a bathroom remodel, you can have a gorgeous bathroom that works like a charm if you pay special attention to the following details.

Lighting

• Natural light keeps a bathroom from feeling cramped. Add a window (as in the photo above) or a solar tube to bring in daylight.

• Why shower in the dark? It’s a daily task that needs proper lighting, and it can be natural or artificial light, so long as you can see what you’re doing.

LIBRARY & BILLIARDS ROOM FINISHED BASEMENT PROJECT
With the children grown and gone, it was time to personalize the basement for the parents. A small game room and an unfinished area were combined to become an Old World, mahogany wood paneled library with a stone fireplace and built-in desk. A 161-gallon salt water fish tank is the dividing wall between the library and the updated billiard room with a handsome two-tone wood floor.

Question
I have a 41 foot span of guttering across the back of my villa that has only one down spout. The gutters overflow during heavy rain storms. The down spout is 2×3 inch. Do you think the solution is adding another down spout or replacing the 2×3” with a 3×4”, or both?
Also do you have any experience with gutter cover products sold at the hardware stores?
